About JoJo
I’m JoJo Phillips – a writer, creative guide, and passionate believer in the power of words to change lives. With a Master’s degree in Creative Writing and a love of storytelling in all its forms, I’ve written novels, non-fiction, and audio drama.
My work spans fiction, non-fiction, wellbeing, and real-world impact – whether I’m crafting a compelling narrative or helping someone find their voice through journaling.

I live in Cheshire, England, and I’m the founder of Journaling Matters CIC, a social enterprise that supports mental wellbeing through expressive writing. As someone who is neurodivergent and has lived experience of mental health challenges, I know how transformative journaling and creativity can be. That insight shapes everything I do – from workshops and coaching to the stories I tell.

When I’m not writing or leading workshops, you’ll usually find me on the yoga mat, planning my next travel adventure, or listening to fiction podcasts with a bar of dark chocolate in hand.
